Applications are invited from qualified applicants for the following programmes which will be offered in the academic year 2011/2012, beginning in MAY 2012 to be taken under Full Time mode of study at Kenyatta University, in the Campuses indicated.

PROGRAMMES MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Commerce
Tuition –
 East Africans Kshs. 120,000/- p.a.
 Non-East Africans Kshs. 175,000/- p.a.
Statutory fees – Kshs. 21,200/- p.a.
Also offered in the Evenings & Weekends
Mean grade of C+ (plus) or equivalent with at least C (plain) in Mathematics and
English or Advanced Level Certificate with two principal passes and a credit
pass in Mathematics at ‘O’ Level certificate or Degree from a recognized
university OR Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution OR
CPA/CPS Part II or equivalent with at least Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE
and C (plain) in Mathematics and English.
Diploma in:
a) Business Management
b) Diploma in Human Resource
Management
Tuition –
 East Africans Kshs. 72,000/- p.a.
 Non-East Africans Kshs. 125,000/- p.a.
Statutory fees Kshs. 21,200/- p.a.
Mean Grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or Division III at KCE or one principal and
one Subsidiary at KACE OR Mean grade of C-(minus) at KCSE with a
certificate in the relevant area from a recognised institution.

Tuition fees -
 East Africans - Kshs. 100,000/- p.a.
 Non-East Africans Kshs. 140,000/-p.a.
Statutory fees - Kshs. 21,200/- p.a.
Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) or
equivalent in two subjects of career choice OR Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE
or Division III at KCE or equivalent or two (2) Principals and one (1) Subsidiary
at KACE and be holders of P1, S1, or Diploma in Education from a recognized
Institution with at least two (2) years teaching experience after training
 NB: Diploma holders from recognized institutions may apply for credit waiver in consultation with
their respective schools. Credit waiver application forms are obtainable on request when collecting
application form or can be downloaded from Kenyatta University website at www.ku.ac.ke.
MODE OF APPLICATION
(a) Application forms can either be obtained from Kenyatta University, Admissions Block, Room
No. 012, Regional Centres located in Nairobi, Embu, Nyeri, Garissa, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu,
Kakamega and Marsabit or be downloaded from Kenyatta University website at www.ku.ac.ke on
payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 2,000/- for East Africans and Kshs. 4,000/- for
applicants from outside East Africa. This money should be deposited into any one of the
following accounts:

(b) Duly completed forms should be returned to the Registrar (Academic), Admissions Block Room
012, Kenyatta University on or before 30th March 2012. Copies of relevant certificates,
Academic transcripts and original application fee receipt MUST be attached to the Application
form.
